Position Description

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and mechanically-minded Pinsetter Mechanic to oversee the
heartbeat of our center: our Brunswick A2 pinsetters. This role is a blend of precision
mechanical work and general facility upkeep. You will be responsible for ensuring maximum
"up-time" for our lanes while maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for our
guests.

Primary Responsibilities

● A2 Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on Brunswick A2 pinsetters.
● Technical Repairs: Repair and adjust electrical components, motors, gearboxes, and belt systems.
● Lane Quality: Maintain lane surfaces, including cleaning, oiling (using Kegel Lane Machine), and approach maintenance.
● Parts Inventory: Manage spare parts stock, track usage, and place orders to ensure minimal downtime.
● Facility Upkeep: Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, or coordinate with the General Manager to contact
outside contractors for specialized fixes.
● Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery guards and safety protocols are strictly followed to protect staff and patrons.
● Documentation: Maintain a legible trouble call and maintenance log for historical and diagnostic reference.

Required Qualifications & Skills

● Experience: Willing to train. Experience working specifically with Brunswick A2 pinsetters is a plus.
● Mechanical Aptitude: A deeper understanding of machines, like; timing cycles, clutches, and mechanical linkages.
● Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot under pressure during peak league or weekend hours.
● Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a loud, cramped environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand/crawl around machinery for
extended periods.
● Availability: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Bonus Points For:

● Certification from a recognized pinsetter mechanic school.
● Experience with Brunswick GS-series or QubicaAMF equipment.
● Knowledge of scoring system hardware (e.g., Sync, Conqueror, or Vector).
